Backend Integration

2nd October 2015

Went to HCL AXON to set up the backend program with the application. Thean was fully working on the backend meanwhile i was working on the Email notification function of the application. The email seems a little difficult. Therefore, John said he would help us on giving some new specification on the email part. 

Alert Notification

29th September 2015

Currently working on the alert notification. Jacky and Jingfei got stuck at one point. Just going through if i could solve that issue. But it seems the error in counter related. therefore will be redoing the whole part for alert notification to see what and where went wrong. 

11th September 2015

I attended the meeting at HCL AXON and we were trying to fix all the remaining codes and issues to make the application a more durable one. Me jacky and JingFei were there to complete this. 

New Semester

We had a kick-off meeting with HCL Axon since it's the beginning of our second module. Over the Skype * Conference call session we have discussed regarding the task as below

-Current development status of the Application

- Future amendments on the application

- Schedule planning for backend integration and checkpoints

- We were asked to come to HCL Axon's office every Friday to integrate the backend system

Application Progress

So far below screenshots would define our progress on the application. We manage to finish most most of the requirements and the employers are happy about it. Below are the all the screenshots of the application and it's features.

Split App Issue (Solved)

Earlier our application only can accommodate one data at once. It means only quotation listing. Therefore I was trying on the possible way to change the list view where by the application could accommodate both the sales order list and quotation list. Whereby the user can switch the list view.

Below is the screenshot of it. I was trying to figure it out for 32 hours non-stop an finally i manage to get it done. Also would like to thank the HCL team for guiding me on this as they responded through email when i asked my doubt on this. 

Unofficial Checkpoint

Yesterday, we had our checkpoint based on a skype conversation. Jacky, me and Jing fei attended the checkpoint as we Skype together from college with them. The employee were happy with the progress this time. We manage to sort the grouping issue(Jing Fei), We manage to create new quotation and edit quotation(Giri) and we also did the new mock data for quotation listing as we were only provided with sales order mock data (Jacky)

Our checkpoint went smooth without any disruption and the employees were satisfied with the progress of our team. With that, we also got the next checkpoint details and the requirements. We also asked whatever needed questions to complete the application before the next checkpoint.
